 Great litter box Feb 04, 2010
It seems strange to get excited about a litter box, but this one is great. I've owned several other self-cleaning litter box, and they lasted about a year, smelled, clumped up, were huge if you used a privacy tent, and so forth. I change the cartridge every 2-3 weeks (we have a big cat), no odor, no mess, and the kitty loves it. Worth every penny.

This litter box ROCKS. I also got the forever tray and use the scoop away litter thats available pretty much anywhere.
It took the cats a little while to get adjusted...and it was FUNNY their reaction for the first few days they watched it do its thing. With two big cats, I get about two weeks of NO smell out of a litter change. Cost per week is probably about the same as with clumping litter...perhaps a bit less, but the convenience and NO odor is well worth it.
Everyone with a cat should buy one of these!!!

I have tried different automatic litter boxes and this is the best one by far that I have tried.

The entire scoopfree system is a lifesaver. As a law student and "mother" of one cat I don't have a whole lot of time, but this system makes it unbelievably easy to get everything done and not have to worry about a smelly, unattended litter box. I just ordered the hood about 3 months ago and I can't believe I didn't have it for the previous year and a half. My cat loves to spread the crystals everywhere by flinging them while she scoops, but this hood definitely prevents that. I'm fairly certain she likes the additional privacy as well.

This should be standard on the product. I wished it wasn't purple. Maybe it'd be better if it was more ventilated on top as well. It came scuffed up and an ugly sticker on it that's hard to remove.
