very nicely made it didnt fit over the litter box right but its still nice

This fits well over the scoopfree and removes with ease. It is a big help in keeping the crystals off the floor and it also does wonders for the odor. I have 21 cats so it's very important to have help with keeping things tidy. The only reason I didn't give it a four star is because it is a bit tight for kitties that are larger than average. My 19 lb. cat gets in but is a bit squished which makes him pee up on the wall at a weird angle. So a taller lid would be a nice option to choose from.

My cats would pee so hard that they would start in the litter box and finished on my wall. lol. So the hood was a great solution to that.

FINALLY A PRODUCT THAT I'M COMPLETELY HAPPY WITH Apr 05, 2010
BEFORE PURCHASING THE SCOOPFREE LITTER BOX I HAD BEEN USING LITTERMAID AND THEN A 2ND AUTOMATIC LITTERBOX WHICH I PURCHASED AT ANIMAL PANTRY. THE LITTERMAID USED CLUMPABLE LITTER AND REQUIRED CLEANING AND CHANGING THE LITTERBOX EVERY 2 - 3 DAYS. THE 2ND LITTERBOX WAS HORRIBLE. COST ME $200 AND WOULD JAM, SPILL LITTER OUT EVERYTIME MY CATS USED IT AND REQUIRED CONSTANT CLEANING.
FINALLY WITH SCOOPFREE, I HAVE FOUND AN AUTOMATIC LITTERBOX THAT TRULY EXCEEDS THE CLAIMS THAT WERE MADE. IT USES CRYSTALS INSTEAD OF CLUMPABLE LITTER. AND WOW, IT'S BEEN TWO WEEKS ALREADY SINCE I'VE HAD TO TOUCH THIS LITTERBOX, CLEAN IT OUT OR CHANGE THE CRYSTAL LITTER. FANTASTIC AND HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. THANK YOU SCOOPFREE.

If you own the ScoopFree Litter box, definitely get the hood! Mar 15, 2010
I bought this for our cat, Ricky, over four years ago along with the ScoopFree Self Cleaning Litter Box. This fits the litter box very well and REALLY keeps the smell from getting out. It also prevents items from getting into the litter box.
It is of good quality, looks nice, and lasts long. I definitely recommend it!
